the rhode lip combo that gives "your lips but better" vibes
In case it wasn't already apparent: I am partial to a low-key, natural glam moment — and more often than not, I'm wearing a subtle, neutral-toned lip combo.
That being said, I do love a slightly overlined moment for a "your lips but better" vibe (even when I'm wearing hardly any makeup at all or sweating in the gym). Rhode's latest launch has become my fave way to achieve just that, and my current lip routine so happens to consist of two of the Hailey Bieber-fronted brand's products.
the formula
If you're looking for precise, ultra-sharp lined lips — this drop isn't the right fit. That being said, the creamy, easy-to-use formula does create that sultry and smudged "model off duty" effect that looks as if you have naturally fuller lips. For me, the shade Twist is my current go-to hue as it's a shade or two darker (and warmer) than my lip color. Obsessed.
I've tried countless cult-fave lippies, and without a doubt, Rhode's OG treatment reigns supreme for me in the hydration department. Not only do my lips feel juicy and nourished, but the high-shine finish is akin to a clear gloss. I always have one on me.
