When I turned 24, my skin went through quite a bit of change. While I have always had pretty clear skin, I have noticed that I need to do a bit more in my skincare routine for that baby-soft, youthful glow that once came so easily. I have tried about a million and one products, but here is the current routine that is really working for me. + Remove: First things first, I always use a pea-sized amount of Shea Moisture's 100% Extra Virgin Coconut Oil to begin to remove my makeup. I love how coconut oil naturally loosens makeup without stripping the skin of it's natural oils. Not to mention, it takes off super long-lasting liquid lipsticks and coats of mascara with ease, never irritating lips or damaging lashes. + Cleanse: Once my makeup is nearly removed, I take a gentle cleanser to completely rid my skin of any leftover makeup and grime from the day. Lately, I've been going back and forth between the Kale Detox Deep Cleansing Face Wash and the Sea Foam Complete Face Wash, both by Pacifica. Personally, I find the Sea Foam scent a bit more relaxing and lovely, though they both softly cleanse my skin with only a tiny bit of product. Not to mention, I love that this brand is completely cruelty-free and 100% vegan. + Exfoliate: As someone with sensitive skin, I have bounced between a few different exfoliators, never really finding one that I am in love with - until I stumbled upon Aveeno's Positively Radiant 60 Second In-Shower Facial, which I use about 3 times a week. In literally one use, my skin's tone was completely evened out, my little blemishes began to disappear before my eyes, my complexion had a gorgeous glow, and I felt completely refreshed. Seriously. The formula is gentle enough for sensitive skin, yet tough enough to rid your skin of any dead skin cells. I can't say enough good things about this product... You just have to try it yourself. Once my skin is perfectly exfoliated, I love using Frank Body's coffee-scented Lip Scrub whenever my lips need a little extra loving (which I first reviewed in this haul). As I mentioned in my haul, this is hands down the best lip scrub I've ever used, and is the only one in my eyes that is worth repurchasing time and time again. + Pamper: Yet another product that completely wowed me after one use is Caudalie's Instant Detox Mask, and since the first time I used it, it has quickly become one of my fave products. In just a few minutes, my skin always feels tighter, my pores nearly disappear, and I am left with a glow as if I had just been kissed. The chamomile and lavender calms my skin and my senses before bedtime, while healing any little spots and blemishes I may have. It really is the perfect detox whenever my skin needs it most. + Tone: Whether it's to tone after my skin is squeaky clean, set my makeup, or give me a midday pick-me-up, I truly can't get enough of Caudalie's Beauty Elixir (which I featured in my Fall Faves blog post). This mist makes me feel like a total goddess whenever I whip it out, enveloping me in the unique aroma of rosemary, and giving my skin that added radiance. If you've yet to pick up this cult-fave product, you're seriously missing out on one of the most indulgent facial mists ever poured into a glass bottle. + Hydrate: Last but not least, giving your skin the ultimate glow is all about hydration. For the longest time, I have been a massive fan of Honest Beauty's Younger Face Deep Hydration Cream. I have tried so many moisturizers, yet I always seem to come back to this one for naturally radiant skin. I love how thick this cream is, yet how lightweight it feels and how quickly it absorbs. I've also really been struggling with dry lips, like many of us East Coasters do come winter. Although it's not the cutest bottle to carry around in your bag, I absolutely swear by Aquaphor's Advanced Therapy Healing Ointment. Overnight, my lips always feel completely revived and plump. What are some of your must-have skincare products?
