Kylie Cosmetics x KKW Beauty crème liquid lipstick collection review

The moment I heard Kylie Cosmetics was creating a collection with Kim K (now available on KKW Beauty), I knew I had to have it - and as a nude lipstick lover (who happens to not be the biggest fan of drying matte formulas), this collection seemed to be simply made for me. Although I ordered these lippies as soon as they dropped, I never seemed to get around to reviewing them, so I figured it's better late than never to add my two cents...

+ Can we just take a moment to appreciate this packaging?! Between the luxe box, the baby pink, the all-matte component... I am just in absolute heaven. Of every Kylie Cosmetics product I have in my collection (which I reviewed here), this has to be my absolute favorite in terms of packaging and presentation. I mean... it's almost too stunning to just throw in my makeup bag.

+ Yes, all four shades are preeeetty similar to the naked eye. However, each lipstick truly is gorgeous and unique. Kimberly is an almond-hued nude, Kim is a true baby coral shade, Kiki is a soft baby pink, and Kimmie is a slightly deeper pinkish-brown nude. In other words - this in theory is the only nude set you need to match any eye look you come up with, no matter where it is on the warm to cool spectrum. As for my personal faves? Kimberly and Kimmie.

+ What I love most about this formula is how soft and creamy it is, what great coverage you get when applying, as well as the pigment (which is always the case with Kylie Cosmetics lipsticks). This feels really lovely on the lips, isn't drying at all, and is more like a lip balm than a lipstick. With about two dips, you can cover your lips entirely without any streaks, leaving your lips with a subtle glossy sheen that never dries down or mattifies.

+ I will say, the one thing that I am a bit upset about is how this formula is completely unscented. For many who found the vanilla-cupcake scent to be overpowering, you are in luck, but that's my favorite part about whipping out my liquid lipsticks throughout the day. That being said, seeing as this formula is not as long-lasting, it may have been a good call after all to leave it completely unscented (as it may have been a bit too headache-inducing if you were constantly touching up and reapplying throughout the day).

If Kylie or KKW dropped an eyeshadow palette to match these stunning lipsticks, I'd be so in. What would you like to see next from the duo?
