You may love Kylie, or you may not be a fan - but either way, you know who the powerful, business-savvy youngest Jenner is. Her rebellious spirit has always intrigued me, and I would be lying if I didn't admit I most definitely keep up with the Kardashians (and Jenners). And yes, I am totally hooked on her impressive cosmetics range...
Having made about 5 orders from Kylie Cosmetics, I can say with certainty that her company is quick, transparent, and super user-friendly. This may be because I'm ordering within the US, but I have yet to pay for shipping, or really be taxed at all... I seriously love how she doesn't sneak in any additional charges at checkout, and since the beginning, has intently listened to her loyal customers (mostly through her social media platforms).
There is a reason for all the Kylie Cosmetics hype.
Here is a look at my current collection, and what I think about each product...
+ The Burgundy Palette
This. Palette. Is. Literally. Everything.
Of everything I've received, this palette was the product I was most excited about - and definitely takes the cake for the most gorgeous packaging. These nine buttery shades are overwhelmingly stunning, incredibly pigmented, blend like velvet, and have little to no fallout. Though there are only nine shades, this color story is so versatile and multi-faceted. As someone who doesn't normally go for a bold eye, I appreciate any palette that allows for an everyday look, with the option to amp up the glam and create something smokey and sexy. The metallics (NY, Dubai, and LA) are quite foiled, with the option of packing it on with a dense brush or your finger for a glittery look, or softly blending away for a more understated shimmer. In my opinion, Brick, Burgundy, LA, and Penny are complete standouts - though I am obsessed with pretty much every single shade. Typically, I reach for Naked (the lightest shade) the least out of all of them. On my fair skin, this color doesn't bring enough light to my eyes like a white or champagne would, though it may work well for those with medium to dark skin tones.

+ So Cute Gloss
When I saw the promo video for Kylie's first 3 glosses, I was completely shook - the outfits, the music, the concept, and of course, the gorgeous glosses embodied and adorned by the badass women in the video. Even though I still need to get my hands on the shade Like, So Cute has been one of my favorite products in all of Kylie Cosmetics' range. Normally, I'm not a gloss girl (it usually applies too sheer, gets stuck on flyaway strands of hair, and isn't long-lasting) - but this formula is simply innovative. The pigment is unreal... With one swipe, my normally-rosy lips are completely covered in this warm-toned pale hue, and with touch-ups here and there throughout the day, the shade lasts forever. If you've yet to try a gloss, I highly recommend you pick one up. You won't be disappointed.
+ Candy K Gloss + Lip Kit
As a part of Kylie's original lip kit release, I knew I had to have this gorgeous nude shade (especially since nude lips are my absolute fave). On my fair complexion, Candy K (which I happen to be wearing in the above photo) looks like a warm, toasty, pinkish, crème brûlée hue - and has quickly become my most worn everyday shade. With each liquid lip and gloss, there is a delicious vanilla cupcake scent from the bottle, but I love how the pigment dries down quickly with a subtly sweet scent that isn't at all overpowering. In particular, the lip liners are a complete game changer, and to be honest, have the best liner formula I have ever come across. They're that good.
+ Koko K Lip Kit
Koko K is a gorgeous baby pink shade, and as expected, the formula is simply dreamy. The liner (which I use most often in this lip kit to create a perfect base) glides on effortlessly, allowing me to have the illusion of a plumper lip. Personally, the shade is a bit too pink for my normal everyday look, but it looks absolutely gorgeous with a sultry eye featuring blacks and burgundies, or a bright eye with rose golds and champagnes.
+ Mary Jo K Lip Kit
Every makeup-lover needs a classic red (or 10+) in their collection - and this jewel-toned shade is perfect. It's not too pink, not too orange, timeless, classy, glamorous, chic - this blue-red will suit every single skin tone effortlessly and beautifully... And this red lasts forever (as do all the lip kits). Seriously. They do not budge. The only way I can properly remove it is by using coconut oil to loosen the product before thoroughly cleansing my skin.
+ Dead Of Knight Lip Kit
Not everyone has a black lipstick in their collection, but if you are on the hunt - look no further. Highly-pigmented, a true black (with no undertones), non-bleeding or smudging - and if you're in desperate need - this formula can double as a liquid liner when you're not in the mood for a dark statement lip.
+ Vixen Lip Kit (from the limited Holiday Edition)
Of every Kylie Cosmetics product I have tried, Vixen would probably be my least favorite... As usual, Kylie nails the long-lasting, sweet-smelling liquid lipstick formula. That being said, this dark shade applied a bit streaky at first (which can be quite normal for darker matte lipsticks), though thankfully wasn't too heavy or tacky once I applied a second coat. But once I went to remove this deep, blackened plum hue at the end of the day, my lips were actually left stained a hot pink. Though I don't really reach for the matte liquid lipstick, I love using the Vixen liner with a light hand to contour my lips.
