As a total coffee addict, skincare junkie, and Australia enthusiast, I truly can't believe it took me this long to try Frank Body products... But I'm seriously so glad I stumbled upon this all-natural, cruelty-free brand once again and finally made my first order. Here are my first impressions and review on these gorgeous products.
+ Original Body Scrub
I mean... how could I make a Frank Body order and NOT try the scrub that made them go viral? The moment I ripped open this package (and every time thereafter), the smell of coffee just brewed ignites my sense and totally wakes me up. This scrub is tough enough to slough away dead skin cells on my body, yet enriched enough with cold pressed sweet almond oil to leave me feeling as soft as a baby's bottom. While every once in a while I like to exfoliate my face, I find that unless you use a very light hand with the pads of your fingers, it can be a bit harsh on sensitive complexions, so keep that in mind when scrubbing away. If you are as coffee-obsessed as I am, you simply need this in your life. Shower time just got a whole lot dirtier...
+ Creamy Face Cleanser
When I first unwrapped this cleanser, my initial thought was how much product you get for the price. As someone who uses just a tiny pump of cleanser every night, I know that this will last me months and months and months, which is a huge plus with any skincare essential I plan on using. This cleanser is silky smooth and perfect for babes with sensitive skin as it does not harshly exfoliate (or exfoliate at all, really) and lathers gently without stripping your skin of it's moisture. The activated charcoal nixes any little blemishes that may be sprouting, while the arabica coffee seed extract, marshmallow root, coconut oil, grapeseed oil, and sweet almond oil leave you feeling squeaky clean and supple. Overall, my skin feels naturally refreshed, though without that tingling feeling some chemical-filled cleansers may leave you with. As a total skincare lover, I most definitely will continue exploring, though I love having this in addition to my daily rotation.
+ Everyday Face Moisturizer
As someone who typically has skin on the dry side during Autumn and Winter, I so appreciate a moisturizer that is a bit heavy in consistency, without weighing my skin down or leaving me looking slick or greasy. This stuff blends away without a trace, and leaves me feeling smooth, hydrated, and slightly tightened. Infused with arabica coffee seed oil, cocoa and shea butter, vitamin E, as well as coconut, grapeseed, and sweet almond oils, the smell of this product is completely divine and lingers for quite some time, though subtly.
+ Lip Scrub
This is, hands down, my absolute favorite lip scrub I have ever used, and with that, the Frank Body product I most adore. At first, the scrub's jar seemed super tiny and I imagined it wouldn't last all that long, but unlike other scrubs I've tried, you need so little product to really exfoliate your lips for a softer, fuller pout. Of every product, this one (as well as the Original Coffee Scrub) smells the most heavenly and the most like freshly brewed coffee. The coffee and sugar combo is simply to die for (I swear, I was veeery tempted to lick it all off), and I love how my lips feel plumper. Hello, Holy Grail product.
+ Lip Balm
What I love most about this balm is how thick it is (kinda like Vaseline), and how the scent is faintly of coffee, yet not overwhelmingly so. This balm stays on all night long, and really does smooth my lips and work to heal any dryness. It's high-shine, which means you get that glossy look akin to a lip gloss, but without the stickiness. I've been loving taking a bit from my lips onto my fingers and setting my brows, adding sheen to my eyelids, and creating a naturally glowing highlight at the high-points of my cheekbones. This balm is totally multi-purpose and looks adorable while doing it's job well. I most definitely will buy it again (especially since my boyfriend loves the taste).
When it comes to coffee, I take mine iced, with soy milk, and in Frank Body packages. How do you like yours?
